Shoot first, ask questions later?

strike bowling, laser games, gun Remember that old saying “shoot first, ask questions later”? This could possibly be the worst mistake a professional photographer could make (aside from leaving the lens cap on) when shooting events, functions or brand and merchandise images! It must be the other way around! “Ask first!!”

bartenders, cocktails, cocktail competitionslive bands, music festivalsAs a professional commercial and event photographer, it’s of great importance that I know what sort of images my clients are looking for when I’m photographing for them. It’s important I find out first what they will be used for such as for social media purposes, print media in advertising, cover shots or website images, etc. I like to work to the clients requirements while also offering my own artistic ideas to enhance the style they’re after. The images may require additional lighting or effects in order to capture and supply them with the desired results they’re after. It’s too late after the shoot!

If you require a professional photographer for your next project, I’d love to discuss it with you!

My Commitment to you
